Ministry to issue treasury bonds in HK
China's Ministry of Finance said that it will issue this year's fourth batch of renminbi-denominated treasury bonds in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on Aug 5. The scale of the bonds will be 15 billion yuan ($2.2 billion). Specific issuance arrangements will be announced via the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's Central Moneymarkets Unit, according to the ministry.
Profits of electronics sector up in H1
China's electronics sector posted a 96.9 percent year-on-year increase in profits in the first half, contributing 8.5 percentage points to the overall profit growth of major industrial firms, the National Bureau of Statistics said.
