Marking the 30th anniversary of Fujian-Ningxia collaboration, the Fifth Yangling Village Rural Cultural Tourism Festival was held in Yangling village, Dawan township, Jingyuan county, the Ningxiao Hui autonomous region from July 18 to 19. The State Grid Guyuan Power Supply service team remained on duty throughout the event, ensuring the festival ran smoothly with reliable power supply.

The two-day and one-night festival featured packed activities and dense crowds: Daytime forest races and agricultural product exhibitions drew steady attention, while nighttime bonfire stages and light shows peaked electricity demand. With temporary market stalls and audio-lighting equipment scattered across multiple sites, power supply stability was put to the test.

To meet the uninterrupted power demands of the event, the State Grid Guyuan Power Supply Company planned ahead with precision, tailoring a "one-point-one-strategy" plan for secured power supply.

Before the event, a 500 kilowatt emergency generator truck was connected to the core area as the primary backup, while a 15 kW generator was flexibly deployed in the camping support zone, forming a dual-power safety net. During the event, service team members served as guardians of the cultural tourism festival, conducting multiple rounds of special inspections and infrared temperature checks on related lines and key equipment, moving between sites to identify and eliminate hazards.

A merchant from Fujian said: "Experiencing Fujian-Ningxia culture at the foot of Liupan Mountain, and seeing those staff busy around us the whole time make you feel both reassurance and warmth."

As night fell and the folk music concert began, team members beside the dazzling stage checked switch connections one by one with thermometers, verified load data, and kept rotating shifts, safeguarding the gathering with "zero-flicker" reliable power. While patrolling, team leader Ma Hailong said: "It has been 30 years of Fujian-Ningxia collaboration. Our Fujian relatives are here celebrating with us. Our job is to protect this mountain-sea bond. We absolutely cannot let anything go wrong with the power supply."

In recent years, the company has continuously supported rural revitalization through agricultural grid upgrades and smart transformation, advancing the renewal of distribution network lines and equipment, building a pilot digital-intelligent green distribution network village, and introducing convenient services such as "shared scan-to-use electricity" to bring quality power supply to the fields.

At the same time, it has actively explored the "power + cultural tourism" integration model, providing comprehensive and reliable electricity for rooftop photovoltaics, electric heating, study tour bases, and other full-scenario applications, laying a solid foundation for rural tourism, specialty farming, courtyard economies, and related industries, and helping the Fujian-Ningxia collaboration take root.

Yangling village continues to steadily grow its collective economy and transform its village landscape.
