Yuan strengthens against greenback

The central parity rate of the Chinese currency renminbi, or the yuan, strengthened 28 pips to 6.7911 against the US dollar on Monday, said the China Foreign Exchange Trade System.

Project targets regional development

The bridge rotation operation of the Changzhou Tenglong Avenue Smart Expressway interchange project was successfully completed in Changzhou, Jiangsu province recently, recording the largest rotation angle among railway overpass bridges in Jiangsu, one of the top provinces measured by GDP. The project is developed by the Changzhou Highway Development Center, constructed by Donghua Metro Corp of China Railway Shanghai Group and undertaken by China Railway 24th Bureau Group. Infrastructure construction remains a core pillar underpinning China's steady economic growth and high-quality development. Major transportation projects such as urban elevated expressways and cross-railway interchanges effectively improve regional traffic efficiency, cut logistics costs and smooth the flow of industrial factors including talent, commodities and capital.
