Tang Guohai, founder of Keeson Technology Corporation Limited, gave a speech at the Digital and Intelligent Health Forum during the 2026 World Internet Conference Digital Silk Road Development Forum in Xi'an on July 22.

Sleep disorders have become a major public health issue requiring urgent attention, and digital intelligence technologies are pushing the sleep industry from "passive response" to "proactive health management", said Tang.

According to the 2026 China Sleep Health Research White Paper, over 300 million people in China suffer from sleep disorder. Meanwhile, China's sleep economy market is expected to exceed 650 billion yuan ($96.02 million) in 2026, Tang noted.

He announced that Keeson Technology has upgraded traditional bedding into an "AI sleep agent", meeting China's Level 4 intelligent grading standard.

He likened the system to a "sleep sentinel" that monitors vital signs in real time during sleep and issues early warnings when abnormalities are detected.

To extend its digital sleep ecosystem, the company is pursuing two major pathways: brain-computer interface technology for seamless human-device interaction, and the integration of digital instruments, therapies, and pharmaceuticals.

The goal, Tang said, is to create a closed-loop system where sleep problems identified through digital monitoring are addressed within the same digital framework.
