Taiwan youth: Villagers in the Chinese mainland treat me as their daughter

"In the city, you may not know your neighbor, but in the village, we have closer bonds. The local villagers in Pingtan, Fujian, treat me like their daughter. I hope to give children in Pingtan more chances to see the world," said Yuan Ching-yang, a #Taiwan compatriot in Pingtan during a cross-Strait exchange event in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province.
