Xia Lin (with mask) reunites with his family on Thursday during a special ceremony organized by the Xi'an public security bureau for abducted individuals reconnecting with their families in Xi'an, Shaanxi province. He was about 5 years old when he was abducted and trafficked 32 years ago. In June, police successfully located three abducted individuals, some missing for up to 38 years, using advanced age progression imaging, DNA kinship testing and big data analysis.
