Namibian president to make state visit to China
At the invitation of President Xi Jinping, President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah of the Republic of Namibia will make a weeklong state visit to China starting on Sunday.
This will be Nandi-Ndaitwah's first trip to China since taking office in March 2025.
According to the Foreign Ministry, Xi will hold a welcoming ceremony and a welcoming banquet for her, and the two leaders will hold talks.
Premier Li Qiang and Zhao Leji, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature, will meet separately with the Namibian president.
In addition to Beijing, Nandi-Ndaitwah will also visit Guangdong and Sichuan provinces.
