State Grid Zhejiang company conducts volunteer service in Yushu, Qinghai
Recently, the volunteer team of State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power traveled over 2,500 kilometers from Jingning, Zhejiang province, to Yushu, Qinghai province, to carry out a volunteer service campaign across the plateau.
From power supply service exchanges to public-welfare livestreaming for agricultural product promotion, from safety classes in Tibetan schools to the sharing of convenience-service experience, the service team brought the warmth of electric power service to the snowy plateau.
At the business hall of State Grid Qinghai Yushu Electric Power Supply Company, the team exchanged service experiences with local employees.
The team from Zhejiang shared their distinctive practices, such as one-stop services at the "New Era Civilization Practice Station" and on-site barber service corners; meanwhile, the Yushu side introduced their "One-Touch" convenience system for serving elderly people living alone in pastoral areas. Although the power supply services of the two regions have different characteristics, they share the same original aspiration of serving the people.
At a pasture in the snowy mountains at an altitude of 4,000 meters, the team set up a temporary livestreaming studio, taught Tibetan herders about how to arrange scenes and display products, and jointly promoted plateau specialties such as Cordyceps sinensis, yak meat, and red goji berries. Online order notification sounds rang out one after another at the foot of the snow-capped mountains.
The team also went into local schools in Yushu to teach children about safe electricity use. Through fun quizzes and on-site interactions, they helped the children remember safety tips like "Don't touch sockets with wet hands" and "Keep kites away from power lines".
From the coast of the East China Sea to the headwaters of the Three Rivers, from the power supply business hall to the snowy mountain pasture, and from the livestreaming room to the school classroom, the team from the State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power, with a volunteer service crossing a distance of over 2,500 kilometers, has demonstrated the power industry professionals' sense of responsibility that "service goes beyond electricity".
