Green is gold: A Vietnamese youth discovers the true value of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" in China
Deeply engaged in bamboo industry research, this Vietnamese scholar has been profoundly inspired by China's vivid practice of the principle that "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets." Through reading this book, she has come to understand China's unique approach and long-term vision for green development, one that skillfully balances ecological protection with economic growth. Over the years, she has traveled extensively across China for academic pursuits and field research, visiting places such as Anji, Beijing and Zhangjiakou. Along the way, she has witnessed firsthand cleaner urban skies, the extensive adoption of clean energy and the effective implementation of the "Bamboo as a Substitute for Plastic Initiative". These experiences have demonstrated that ecological conservation and economic prosperity need not come at the expense of one another.
In this episode of Shining Wisdom, she shares her observations and insights gained along the way.
