The Chinese wisdom behind "lucid waters and lush mountains"

Vietnamese youth Tran Thuy Linh recently had an in-depth conversation with He Shuaizhen, an artist devoted to ecology and peace. Through their exchange, she found that China's ecological civilization is deeply rooted in traditional Chinese culture and Eastern wisdom. Ideas such as harmony between humanity and nature, as well as the pursuit of peace, balance and common prosperity, reflect a development vision with profound philosophical foundations. In her view, concepts such as "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" and building a community with a shared future for humanity not only matter to China, but can also offer the world an Eastern paradigm for more harmonious, peaceful and sustainable development.
