Jilin students brave Sunday rain to sit first day of gaokao

Cities across Jilin province experience rainy weather on Sunday, as students put on their thinking caps for the first day of the national college entrance exam, commonly known as the gaokao.
Outside the examination centers in Changchun and Jilin, family members and teachers donned umbrellas to accompany the exam candidates.
Despite the misty rain, warmth and support were palpable as the students maintained their composure and entered the examination hall.
