State Grid Jinhua strengthens services for manufacturers
State Grid Jinhua Power Supply Company is strengthening tailored power services for local manufacturers, as rising temperatures drive up industrial electricity demand and put pressure on production facilities.
The company recently carried out an on-site assessment at Zhejiang Bahe Electromechanical Technology Co, a key manufacturer in its service area, to review its power use and support its response to the summer peak, according to the company.
For manufacturers, reliable power supply is closely tied to production schedules, equipment performance and cost control, especially when workshops and distribution facilities operate under heavier loads during hot weather, the power supplier said.
During the visit, technicians inspected Bahe's production workshops, high-voltage distribution room and key electrical facilities. Infrared temperature measurement devices were used to detect abnormal heating in equipment, distribution lines and wiring terminals, while a digital operation and maintenance platform helped analyze the manufacturer's load patterns and peak-demand characteristics, according to the company.
Based on the assessment, the service team proposed a tailored energy efficiency plan to optimize load distribution and power-use schedules, aiming to reduce operational risks and improve electricity efficiency, the company said.
The power supplier said it will continue to apply its "one enterprise, one policy" service mechanism to better meet manufacturers' electricity needs, support stable output during the summer peak and contribute to the steady development of the local industrial economy.
