Vice-president meets with Brazilian foreign minister
China has always viewed and developed China-Brazil relations from a long-term strategic perspective, Vice-President Han Zheng said on Monday while meeting with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira in Beijing.
Han said that practical cooperation between China and Brazil is highly complementary and boasts strong momentum. Both sides should better leverage mechanisms such as the China-Brazil High-level Coordination and Cooperation Committee to advance cooperation with greater technological input, higher added value and a clearer strategic focus.
Vieira said that Brazil stands ready to work with China to give full play to the high-level committee's coordinating role and deepen cooperation across all fields.
