Ding Xiangqun has been appointed Party secretary of the National Financial Regulatory Administration, the regulator announced on Friday.
Ding, a veteran banker, previously served as chairwoman of the People's Insurance Company (Group) of China Ltd and held senior positions at the China Development Bank and the Bank of China.
