Efforts urged to build a unified national market
Premier Li Qiang presided over an executive meeting of the State Council, China's Cabinet, on Thursday, emphasizing the need for sustained, long-term efforts to build a unified national market.
The meeting called for deepening institutional frameworks in areas such as property rights protection, market access, fair competition, social credit and market exit mechanisms.
The meeting also reviewed and approved a plan for the development of a modern emergency response system during the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) period.
A draft revision of the People's Bank of China Law was also discussed and approved in principle at the meeting.
