Putin hugged him again after 26 years in Beijing

During his state visit to China on Wednesday, Putin hugged the same Chinese boy he had embraced 26 years ago. Back in 2000, on his first presidential trip, Putin met the boy at Beijing’s Beihai Park and took a photo. The boy, Peng Pai, later went to Russia to study and is now an engineer. Twenty-six years later, they met again in Beijing!
