"The grid-connection interface is functioning normally, the temperature of the photovoltaic panels remains within the proper range, and all operating parameters are stable." On May 8, staff members from State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power visited the Torreya-PV Agrivoltaic Base in Dongkeng Town to conduct a special inspection. The team promptly identified and eliminated potential equipment hazards to ensure the photovoltaic power generation system operates safely and efficiently.

Walking through the lush torreya forest, rows of dark blue photovoltaic panels stretch across the mountainside in neat formation, blending harmoniously with the surrounding greenery and creating a distinctive landscape. Taking advantage of its high altitude and abundant sunshine, Dongkeng Town has adapted to local conditions by deeply integrating torreya cultivation with photovoltaic power generation. PV modules are installed above the torreya orchards, creating a new green development model that combines "power generation above the forest and crop cultivation below."

According to reports, the "Torreya-PV complementation" model not only helps alleviate land shortages in mountainous areas and eases the constraints associated with building ground-mounted PV stations, but also delivers dual benefits through clean energy generation and specialty agriculture. The PV panels provide moderate shade for the torreya trees, reducing the impact of extreme summer heat and drought while improving both fruit quality and yield. At the same time, the system requires no additional land use, truly achieving "dual land utilization and multidimensional income growth."

During the inspection, staff carried out comprehensive checks on key components including PV arrays, inverters, grid-connection metering boxes, and cable connectors. Using infrared thermometers, they measured the temperature of wiring terminals, carefully recorded operational data, and explained summer maintenance precautions and common troubleshooting methods to local growers, helping improve their independent maintenance capabilities.

"In the past, we were only busy during the autumn harvest season and had little income for the rest of the year. Now, with photovoltaic power generation, we receive 'sunshine income' every month," said the head of the torreya base with a smile. "The PV panels also provide shade in summer and help retain warmth in winter, allowing the torreya nuts to grow fuller and increasing yields. The power supply company regularly checks our equipment and even taught us how to use a mobile app to monitor power generation. Their service has been excellent, and our 'green savings account' keeps growing."

In recent years, Jingning County has leveraged its ecological and mountainous advantages to vigorously develop clean energy projects such as photovoltaic power generation, transforming "ecological beauty" into "economic value." State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power has continuously optimized its PV grid-connection services by opening green service channels and providing comprehensive one-stop support covering application acceptance, site surveys, meter installation, and grid connection. The company also guides users in linking their PV accounts to the "Online State Grid" app, enabling real-time access to power generation data and convenient digital management.

Going forward, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power will continue innovating its service models by providing more precise energy-efficiency diagnostics, equipment inspections, and technical support for PV grid connection. By addressing users' practical needs and empowering rural revitalization through green energy, the company aims to help mountainous regions pursue a low-carbon path toward shared prosperity.
