Themed trains have grown from daily transport into leisure experiences, linking travel, culture and consumption. In the first quarter, China's railways handled 1.133 billion passenger trips, up 5.5% year on year, and operated 627 tourist trains. Football fan trains, tea-picking trains, study tours and panda-themed trains offer immersive experiences. They turn journeys into new consumption scenarios and attract young travelers.
