Former Kyrgyz prime minister: China's development model is the right path

"The development model of China is the right approach," Djoomart Otorbaev, former prime minister of Kyrgyzstan, said in an interview at the Global Leadership Forum hosted by Renmin University of China in Beijing in late March.

Otorbaev noted that few countries have achieved such sustained success in recent decades. He emphasized that China's governance stands out for its long-term vision and strategic planning.

"The 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) clearly prioritizes modernization and high-quality development," he said.

Otorbaev also expressed confidence that future cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan will bring mutual benefits to both sides.
