Why is China the world's innovation testbed

The next frontier of AI lies in the physical world, and "if it comes from somewhere, it could come from here (China)," said Denis Depoux, global managing director at German strategy consulting firm Roland Berger. In an interview with #UnboxingChina during this year's China Development Forum, he explained why China has become a place to turn ideas into reality and scale them up, from AI to the electrification of vehicles, and why, for global businesses, China is no longer just a market, but also a place to learn, build and compete.
