Top 10 regions power national growth

China's 10 top provincial regions by gross domestic product accounted for 62.2 percent of the country's overall economic growth in 2025, according to recent data released by all such regions. The 10 top-performing regions, including Guangdong, Jiangsu and Shandong provinces, helped boost the national growth rate by 3.1 percentage points, the data show. Their combined GDP totaled approximately 85.5 trillion yuan ($12.3 trillion) in 2025.

Dispatch employees learn new operations

Chinese railway operators have intensified efforts to help rail dispatch staff members master the newly adjusted train operation diagram launched in the first quarter. At Yuci Station in Shanxi province, employees joined a special study on the new parameters — plan, marshaling, routes, train numbers and timings. This was to ensure full implementation by every worker at the station as well its subordinate station. They were also told to "learn, practice and test" to avoid any abnormal situations and help safeguard smooth rail transport.
