Policy measures aimed at promoting investment
Premier Li Qiang presided over an executive meeting of the State Council, China's Cabinet, on Friday to discuss policy measures for promoting effective investment.
The meeting noted that promoting effective investment plays a significant role in stabilizing economic growth and bolstering development momentum.
It is necessary to innovate and improve policy measures, increase both the intensity and effectiveness of the efforts and make good use of funds, such as central budget investment, ultra-long-term special treasury bonds and local government special bonds.
On the same day, Li also presided over the tenth plenary session of the State Council, during which discussions were held on the draft government work report and the draft outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30).
Festive greetings extended to cultural, sci-tech figures
Senior Communist Party of China official Cai Qi extended festive greetings on Friday to all those working in the cultural and sci-tech circles, on behalf of General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee Xi Jinping and the CPC Central Committee.
Cai, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, visited experts in oil exploration, power systems, historical research and Party history studies, commending their achievements and listening to their advice.
Cai called for efforts to bolster the vitality of cultural innovation and creativity, and to foster a virtuous cycle between independent technological innovation and talent cultivation.
