China appeals for differences to be resolved through dialogue

Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said on Friday that China hopes all parties will resolve differences through dialogue and jointly safeguard regional peace and stability, when asked whether Iran had consulted with Russia and China ahead of talks with the United States on Iran's nuclear program.
Lin said at a press briefing that China has maintained communication with all relevant parties on the issue.
On Thursday, Vice-Foreign Minister Miao Deyu and Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin separately met with visiting Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharibabadi.
