China's Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said on Friday that the government has no comment on relations between Britain and Japan, and hopes that state-to-state relations will be conducive to regional peace and stability.

He made the remarks when asked what message China hopes British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will convey to Japan. Starmer will visit Japan after concluding his China trip.
