US youth on Yasukuni Shrine visits: silence and forgetting betray peace

Opposing visits to the Yasukuni Shrine should be a shared responsibility, including for the United States. Such visits are not simply mourning. With Class A war criminals enshrined there, they risk obscuring aggression and dishonoring the victims of World War II.
