How the US "hollows out" the one-China principle

"In recent years, the US has effectively set aside most of the substance of the three China-US joint communiques," said Xin Qiang, deputy director of the Center for American Studies at Fudan University. Over the decades, the US has been hollowing out the one-China principle by wielding the so-called "Taiwan Relations Act" and "Six Assurances". This dangerous trend has become increasingly evident.
