Volkswagen delivers 2.69 million cars in '25

Volkswagen Group delivered 2.69 million vehicles in the Chinese market last year, accounting for about 30 percent of its total global deliveries, the German automaker said. Also in 2025, the company sold 2.57 million fuel vehicles in China and rolled out a batch of new-generation electrified and intelligent connected vehicles.

Chinese mainland shares close lower

Mainland stocks closed lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.64 percent to 4138.76 points. The Shenzhen Component Index closed 1.37 percent lower at 14169.4 points.
