"Exchanges between countries should be conducive to promoting regional peace and stability," Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning emphasized this on Friday while responding to a question about the Republic of Korea President Lee Jae-myung's upcoming visit to Japan.
Declining to comment on the visit, Mao said it was a matter between the ROK and Japan.
