Locajoy Theme Park celebrates New Year and pandas with unique feast

Locajoy Theme Park in Chongqing's Yongchuan district recently organized a joyful celebration to ring in the New Year and celebrate the second anniversary of the arrival of four giant pandas.

Zookeepers crafted a unique culinary treat for the pandas, featuring an array of creative platters and fruit and vegetable skewers resembling typical local snacks. The nutritious treats were made using bamboo leaves and shoots, cherries, strawberries, kiwis, sugarcane, corn, carrots, and bell peppers.

Qing Hua‌, Qing Lu, Qiao Yue, and Ai Lian were born at the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda in Sichuan province and relocated to the Locajoy park at the end of 2023. Since then, the four pandas have flourished under the dedicated care of the zookeeping team and become beloved stars at the park.
