International forum explores cultural continuity and technology in AI era

Artists and scholars from across the world joined a forum in Beijing to discuss the diverse expressions of contemporary art in addressing the continuity of cultural heritage and changing relations between humans and technology in an AI-integrated era.

The International Art Conference of BIAB was held alongside the ongoing 10th Beijing International Art Biennale, where nearly 600 artworks are on display at the Beijing Exhibition Center until Jan 28.

The two days of discussions centered on topics including the continuity of cultural heritage through artistic innovation, cross-cultural dialogue, and how contemporary art explores coexistence globally through dialogue. Delegates examined both opportunities and challenges brought by technology to build a robust framework for art creation.
