Pakistan's Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar will arrive in China on Saturday for the Seventh Round of China-Pakistan Foreign Ministers' Strategic Dialogue, Beijing's Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said on Wednesday.

Addressing a regular press briefing, Lin said the visit by Dar, who also serves as Pakistan's deputy prime minister, will begin a year of events marking the 75th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic ties between the two countries.

Calling China and Pakistan ironclad friends and all-weather strategic cooperative partners, Lin said they have engaged in frequent high-level exchanges, built strong political mutual trust, and continuously deepened and expanded practical cooperation, sustaining a positive momentum of high-level development in bilateral relations.

Li added that China looks forward to using the visit, which will last until Monday, as an opportunity to further implement the important common understandings reached by the leaders of the two countries, enhance strategic communication and coordination, deepen cooperation across various fields, and accelerate the building of an even closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era.
