Engineering to boost rail infrastructure
Chinese railway operators are paying vital attention to eliminate any rail safety hazard during winter. To strengthen the foundation of railway operations and enhance the quality of railway equipment during the winter, Taiyuan High-speed Railway Engineering Section has organized a special construction project for precision tamping by large machinery on high-speed railway lines within its jurisdiction. By formulating a special construction plan and following standardized procedures, its staff members have joined the cross-departmental operations. Technical backbones were assigned to provide guidance during shifts. Up to now, it has completed 150 kilometers of precision tamping by large machinery, effectively preventing equipment defects.
