An exhibition now on at the Jinxiu Art Gallery, on the southwestern outskirts of Beijing, celebrates the fruits of a close collaboration between the Communication University of China and China National Academy of Painting in rejuvenating Chinese ink tradition.

On display are dozens of ink works by doctoral students of Chinese painting and calligraphy at the Communication University, who also attend courses taught by artists and scholars from the national academy of painting. The showcase highlights clear aesthetic improvements in their work, thanks to the collaboration. The exhibition runs until Dec 15.
