SDEE, headquartered in East China's Shandong province, has built its reputation in the Americas through its supply of a range of high-end power transformers, biodegradable oil transformers and high-voltage cables, which have been integrated into power grids across the region with the aim of producing cleaner energy.
All 20 transformers (50-MVA transformers rated 230 kV, 138 kV, and 69 kV) supplied by SDEE to Honduras are now operational, covering the transmission corridor from the capital, Tegucigalpa, to the economic hub of San Pedro Sula. According to the company, the project has significantly boosted power stability for the Central District and Palmerola International Airport.
