Israel strikes Beirut's southern suburbs, causing casualties

BEIRUT/JERUSALEM -- Israeli warplanes on Sunday struck a residential apartment in Haret Hreik, Beirut's southern suburbs, resulting in casualties, Lebanon's al-Manar TV channel reported.

The Israeli military confirmed its strike on Beirut, saying it targeted a "key" Hezbollah member.
