China and Malaysia began their giant panda conservation cooperation in May 2014. The panda pair Fu Wa and Feng Yi, known as Xing Xing and Liang Liang in Malaysia, spent 11 years at the Zoo Negara before returning to China in May this year. During their stay in Malaysia, they produced three cubs: Nuan Nuan, Yi Yi, and Sheng Yi.
