Zhejiang Quzhou boosts clean energy with centralized maintenance
On Nov 10, staff from State Grid Quzhou Electric Power Company visited the 35 kV Heshe hydropower control station in Jiangshan, Quzhou, to conduct a thorough inspection of key equipment, like generator units, main transformers, and intelligent monitoring devices. The effort aims to strengthen the station's operational safety and prepare for full-capacity power generation in the coming months.
As the peak autumn maintenance season begins, multiple small hydropower stations and photovoltaic (PV) stations across Quzhou are accelerating equipment overhauls. The Company has deployed specialized technical teams to these sites to conduct targeted safety inspections, develop preventive maintenance plans and guide users in implementing corrective actions, ensuring all equipment operates optimally and reliably during critical periods.
During the inspection, the company leveraged its digital operation and maintenance platform to conduct real-time monitoring and trend analysis of station performance data. By organizing coordinated efforts across dispatch, operations, and relay protection teams, the company implemented a collaborative "diagnostic" approach. This enabled centralized problem-tracking and a closed-loop workflow of "issue–handling–clearance" to help users eliminate systemic safety risks.
At the rooftop distributed PV station operated by Zhejiang Carbon One New Energy Co., Ltd., staff from the company's dispatch center adopted a dual approach of "standardized technology + customized solutions." Through unified communication access plans, the reuse of existing cable routes, and the optimization of existing equipment, the team developed tailored "one station, one plan" guidance to help users complete the required "four-ready" upgrades on schedule. As of now, all 10 kV distributed PV stations in Quzhou have achieved 100% compliance with the "four-ready" standards, laying the groundwork for large-scale coordinated control and grid regulation.
Through this specialized service for small hydropower and distributed PV users, State Grid Quzhou Electric Power Company has further strengthened the safety and stability of clean energy operations within its jurisdiction, improving the region's green power supply capability. Moving forward, the company will continue deepening collaboration with local governments and energy enterprises, enhancing dispatch management, and promoting the consumption and integration of regional clean energy.
