On Nov 10 local time, the "Report on State Grid Corporation of China's Contribution to the Global Security Initiative" was released at the "Beautiful Bay, Better Life" Marine Ecological Civilization Storytelling Event, a featured activity of the China Corner at the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference. This is the first report by a Chinese enterprise on implementing the Global Security Initiative, and also the third corporate contribution report released by State Grid on the UN platform. It follows the release of the first green and low-carbon development report by a central enterprise at the 27th UN Climate Change Conference and the first "Report on Contributing to the Global Development Initiative" by a central enterprise during the 78th session of the UN General Assembly.

Against the backdrop of global climate change, accelerating energy transition and effectively addressing the "triple dilemma" of energy security, green development, and economic efficiency has become a global consensus. State Grid has thoroughly implemented the new energy security strategy of "four revolutions and one cooperation", accelerated the construction of a new energy system, focused on building a new power system, actively and steadily advanced carbon peaking, and accelerated the formation of a green production and lifestyle. It has effectively guaranteed the electricity demand for economic development and people's livelihood, providing a replicable Chinese model and solutions for countries to ensure energy security and promote green and low-carbon transition.

The Report consists of four parts: Preface, Global Security Initiative, Global Security Initiative and State Grid, and Measures Taken by State Grid to Implement the Global Security Initiative.
