Proposals drafted for possible nuclear test
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Saturday that work is underway on President Vladimir Putin's order to prepare proposals for a possible nuclear test, state news agency TASS reported. The instruction, issued at a Security Council meeting on Wednesday, "has been accepted for implementation and is being worked on", he said, adding that the public will be informed of the results. The order came in response to United States President Donald Trump's earlier announcement that Washington would resume nuclear testing. Lavrov said Moscow has received no clarification from the US on the move.
