Man charged with 11 counts of attempted murder after stabbing attack in Cambridgeshire, UK

LONDON -- A 32-year-old man has been charged with 11 counts of attempted murder following a stabbing attack in Cambridgeshire on Saturday.

The British Transport Police said that Anthony Williams, from Peterborough, faces ten counts of attempted murder, one count of actual bodily harm, and one count of possessing a bladed article in connection with the incident in Huntingdon.

He has also been charged with an additional count of attempted murder and possession of a bladed article in relation to a separate incident at Pontoon Dock DLR station in the early hours of the same day, during which a victim suffered facial injuries.

Police confirmed that Williams is due to appear in court on Monday. The stabbing attack left several people injured. No fatalities have been reported.
