Ballet competition wraps up with gala and awards

Winners include Japanese dancer An Takahashi, 13, Chinese dancer Zhang Gehan, 17, and Parker Rozzano-Keefe, 20, from the United States. Cao Yufei, 16, won the award, Prix de BDA.

This year, the competition gathered an illustrious panel of judges, led by Nina Ananiashvili, the artistic director of the State Ballet of Georgia, who is an award-winning figure in the global ballet community.

Since its inception in 2006, the competition has attracted the participation of more than 80 troupes, a total of 947 contestants and performers from 60 countries and regions.
