Xia Qing, chairman of the competition's judging panel and former vice-president of the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences, said the contest had grown into a platform for promoting green development.
"I have served as a judge for 14 years," Xia said. "The value of the competition now extends far beyond project selection — it has become an important engine for nurturing new quality productive forces in the Eco-City."
