Film crews explore medical miracles in Beijing

On the morning of Oct 21, Russian and Kazakhstan film crews visited the innovation center and manufacturing base of Surgerii Robotics in Daxing district, Beijing. They explored its technological breakthroughs and clinical application achievements in the field of single-port laparoscopic surgical robots. Laparoscopy involves a minimally invasive procedure to look inside a patient's stomach or pelvis.

Beijing Surgerii Robotics is a high-end medical device company focused on independent research, production, and commercialization, founded by Xu Kai, a professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In recent years, the company has been dedicated to developing laparoscopic surgical robot systems and supporting instruments.
