Israel launches fresh airstrikes on Gaza

JERUSALEM -- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement that it has begun a series of strikes against Hamas militant targets in the southern Gaza Strip on Sunday, "in response to the blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement earlier today."
