14th China Arts Festival kicks off in Chengdu


On Oct 16, the 14th China Arts Festival opened in Chengdu, Sichuan province, featuring over 100 outstanding performances, more than 170 public art works, and approximately 1,000 pieces of fine art, calligraphy, seal engraving and photography.
During the festival, Sichuan and Chongqing will jointly present diverse activities such as the "Twin-Cities Theater Festival", art exhibitions, acrobatics and magic performances, intangible cultural heritage displays, and digital art exhibitions. Cultural tourism routes and events like "Travel with the Shows" and "Museum Nights" will also be launched to boost cultural and tourism consumption.
Co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Chongqing municipal government, and the Sichuan provincial government, the 14th China Arts Festival will conclude on Nov 5 in Chongqing, with activities continuing until the end of 2025.
