Fuzhou hosts cutting-edge marine equipment expo


The Third China Marine Equipment Expo opened in Fuzhou on Thursday, attracting a record 812 exhibitors from 25 countries, including Norway, Denmark and Japan. Showcasing more than 7,000 products, the event serves as a high-end platform for global collaboration in the maritime industry.
The four-day expo, spanning 100,000 square meters, features cutting-edge "black-tech" innovations. Highlighted exhibits include the Fendouzhe submersible, the offshore vessel Tiankun, advanced deep-sea robots and unmanned maritime systems.
Ma Yunxiang, assistant general manager of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, highlighted Fujian's deep-rooted history as a major shipbuilding base.
"The region carries a long tradition of looking toward the sea for strength and is pulsating with the vigorous energy of a marine powerhouse," he said.
