In the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 47 kilometers from the China-Kyrgyzstan border, sits a primary school. Here, a group of Chinese Gen Z volunteer teachers received a reply letter from President Xi Jinping and celebrated their very first Teachers’ Day. Join China Daily reporter Peng Yixuan to take a look at daily life in this borderland school!
