Chinese culture in spotlight at Milan youth collaboration event

The "Youth Cultural Innovation Collaboration" series of exchange events, co-hosted by the China National Arts Foundation, Cosmo magazine and the Italian Fashion and Cultural Arts Association, ran in Milan from Sept 19 to 26.

Themed "Culture + Youth + Innovation", the event aimed to leverage the power of youth to promote Sino-Italian cultural exchange and innovative cooperation, showcasing mutual cultural appreciation between the two nations in celebration of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Italy.

The event kicked off on the afternoon of Sept 19 with a show at the Visconti Palace that presented an innovative fusion of traditional Chinese clothing culture with modern fashion design. Other events held over the course of the week included a Cultural Innovation Cooperation Dialogue, an exhibition of contemporary Chinese art, and a photography exhibition marking the anniversary of the establishment of Sino-Italian diplomatic relations.
