Mobile charging pods to power green drives
Power operators have introduced innovative ways to ensure new energy vehicles have enough power for long journeys during the forthcoming National Day holiday. State Grid Chuzhou in Anhui province has rolled out a flexible charging plan to keep NEVs moving on the highways. At Fushan service area, two mobile emergency-charging pods can automatically navigate to a vehicle without anyone stepping out of the car. The "pod-to-car" mode saves drivers from the old "car-hunts-pile" headache. The company has also checked every fixed charging site to ensure full power.
