Police identify man who killed 2 officers
Australian police on Wednesday identified the suspect who shot and killed two police officers and seriously wounded a third as the search for the shooter entered day two in a vast, remote rural area in the country's southeast. Dezi Freeman, 56, was heavily armed and experienced in wilderness survival skills, Victoria's Chief Commissioner of Police Mike Bush told reporters. People were urged to stay indoors. The shooting happened on Tuesday, when 10 armed police officers tried to execute a search warrant at Freeman's property in Porepunkah, a town of just over 1,000 people located 320 kilometers northeast of Melbourne.

US envoy summoned over Greenland issue
Denmark's foreign minister has summoned the top US diplomat in Copenhagen over Danish intelligence reports that US citizens have been conducting covert influence operations in Greenland, the ministry said on Wednesday. Public broadcaster DR cited unnamed sources as saying the government believed at least three US nationals with ties to President Donald Trump's administration had been involved in influence operations aimed at promoting Greenland's secession from Denmark to the United States. The US embassy in Copenhagen did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

SpaceX launches 10th Starship test flight
SpaceX successfully launched the 10th flight test of its giant Starship rocket on Tuesday, taking a significant step forward in developing the world's first fully reusable launch vehicle. The two-stage vehicle lifted off from SpaceX's Starbase facility in Texas at about 6:30 pm, after two days of delays caused by weather and technical issues. About 18 minutes into the flight, SpaceX demonstrated Starship's payload deployment capability for the first time, releasing a set of Starlink simulator satellites. SpaceX said the flight test met all of its major objectives.
